Special Report from People.cn: Journalists from 19 Countries Praise WINDEY as A Paradigm of the Symbiosis between Technology and Nature

Time:2025-06-10 Number:0 From:Windey

Recently, People's Daily Online (People.cn) focused on a special report: 23 media journalists from 19 countries including Turkey, Nauru, Malaysia, Iran, Mongolia, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Indonesia, together with domestic mainstream media, paid a visit to the Ulanqab base of WINDEY Co., Ltd. They witnessed in an immersive way the transformation of giant wind turbines from the grinding of precision parts to the integrated molding of huge structure, experiencing WINDEY’s vigorous “pulse” that drives the development of green energy through sci-tech innovation.

When walking into the factory building, the journalists raised their mobile phones one after another and kept taking pictures of the parts inside the building. Seeing those giant bolts and nuts neatly stacked in cardboard boxes, they couldn't help but pick them up like "lifting dumbbells" to weigh them and feel the real weight of these components.

While being interviewed by People's Daily Online, Nikhil Kumar, a journalist from Fiji Broadcasting Corporation, said: "Those wind turbines that I saw in videos seemed small, but after seeing these huge structures in person, I am aware that they can store a large amount of energy and benefit countless people. Moreover, the efficiency of the production process is also amazing."

He said: "I knew very little about Inner Mongolia's innovative practices in the field of green energy. Although I heard that the local governments were promoting green energy innovation through a diversified renewable energy system such as solar energy and wind energy, it was not until this on-site visit to factories and wind power generation facilities that I deeply felt that they are steadily moving towards the goal of becoming an important town for green energy."

Wes Cabangon, a journalist from the Philippine Business Mirror, said in an interview with the People's Daily Online that renewable energy is more of a supplementary energy in the Philippine industrial system that relies mostly on oil, coal, and natural gas. However, Inner Mongolia is different, and it is making every effort to promote the transformation of the industry towards green and environment-friendly energy, and this all-around effort is impressive.

Inner Mongolia is an important energy base in China. In 2024, the cumulative power generation of new energy in Inner Mongolia exceeded 200 billion kilowatt-hours, and the new energy power sent out totaled 60 billion kilowatt-hours, ranking first in China. As a deep participant in the development of the new energy industry of Inner Mongolia, WINDEY, relying on its northern headquarters in Inner Mongolia, has given full play to its leading role as the “Chain Master” enterprise in recent years. For example, the Company actively built a new energy industry system that integrates design, R&D, manufacturing, training, and services, and dedicated itself to promoting the implementation of comprehensive energy solutions such as wind, solar, energy storage, hydrogen production, ammonia production, and alcohol production. The Company has also established extensive cooperation with Inner Mongolia in such fields as the construction of green industrial parks and integrated sand prevention and control, kept exploring the innovative linkage model “Clean Energy Development + Industrial Ecological Cultivation”, and actively brought in upstream and downstream enterprises to promote the upgrading of the local new energy industry cluster towards high end and intelligence, helping Inner Mongolia make the leap from an “energy granary” to a “green energy engine”.

Malaysian journalist Xu Junjie gave high recognition to WINDEY’s technical strength. Speaking of the current situation of his own country, he said: "Although we mainly rely on coal-fired power, green energy will surely become the mainstream because fossil energy will eventually be exhausted, while the wind and solar resources from nature are inexhaustible.”

When being asked what keywords he would emphasize in introduction of this trip to readers in their respective countries, Nikhil Kumar gave the answer: "Efficiency, innovation, sustainability, and green development." Wes Cabangon's reply was "The symbiosis between technology and nature." Dere Aoso, a journalist from the Solomon Islands, said: "I have learned a lot here. After returning to my country, I will share the advanced technologies and the economic & trade development here with more people, enabling more people to learn about China."
